1930 Census: (taken April 18, 1930) John & Rose Egereer lived at 2854 Armitage Ave,.Chicago, IL renting for $30 a month. They owned a radio, John was 23 when they were married and Rose was 21. Immigrated in 1922. John was born in Germany as were both his parents. Rose was born in Poland, as were both er parents. John is a baker in a bakery shop.
They are buried at St. Joseph Cemetary, River Grove, IL Section H, Lot Sub 11 of 9, Grave 4

page 51, 52 & 53 - Jack & Emelia Herbst
1930 Census: John & Emelia lived at 1908 Belmont Ave. Chicago, IL renting for $60 a month. John was 37 years old and Emelia was 34 years old. Their kids, Robert were 7 1/2 yrs. and Walter was 3 and 7 mos. John was 28 when he married the 25 year old Emelia. Both John and Emelia and their parents were born in Poland. They spoke German in the home before they came to America. John came to America In 1903 and Emelia in 1914. John worked as a retail merchant in a stationary store.
